Can the water filter be connected to the refrigerator?

Yes! The 5th generation Imperial Plus can withstand water pressure and can be connected to the refrigerator.

However, we generally do not recommend connecting it to the refrigerator because it can re-contaminate the water with pathogenic microorganisms that can be created by the refrigerator, as well as re-contaminate the water with chemical contaminants of copper (from copper piping) and lead (from the compounds), as well as dangerous plasticizers.
